8 affirmations for happiness

I like feeling good, and happy. Don't you too? I like knowing I can be in charge of my thoughts, and deliberately choosing them, to feel good. I did not know I could. And I like knowing I can think happy thoughts to evoke feeling happy. I didn't know the relation between the two either.

Sometimes it is hard, because of not paying attention and not being aware of my thoughts, but rather being aware of circumstances, and reacting rather then responding. I did not know I could be aware of my thoughts. I did not know I could not react upon them. I did not know I can choose. I like feeling happy. And I like other people feeling happy. Don't you too?

Knowing was and is big revelation and it is the first step. Practicing follows. And it's lots of failing. Oh yeah. There is a saying in Africa, that monkeys learn to jump on trees by trying. I really love this one. We can try and we become masters by failing, and trying again and again. Being aware slowly and surely replace not being aware. Responding, slowly and surely replace not reacting upon our negative thoughts and circumstances. Every bit of awareness count. Every repetition of positive affirmation count. Every small win counts.

Oh, can it be really so easy? As I said at the beginning, nope. Do monkeys think it's easy? I don't think so. It's not easy, it's worth to try and keep trying, what worst can happen? Feeling better? Feeling happy? Ask yourself why YES? So let's repeat, on repeat throughout the day, every day during the whole week:

I am joyful.

I am youthful.

I am ravishing.

I am vigorous.

I am happy.

I am blessed.

I grateful.

I open to Life loving me today!

I wish you a wonderful new week and courage to think feeling good happy thoughts, repeating affirmations for happiness!
