12 Minute Healthy and Happy Hips Mobility Workout

Hips hips hurray! I very often say during the final stretch at the end of the class: "And now you can do this at home in front of the TV. Every day, or every second day from 2 to 5 minutes.". The particular position I am talking about is sitting wide leg open forward bend. This particular position brings lots of worry to the faces of my students. Nevertheless, before we attempt to do this stretch, the whole workout precedes. So in the end our hips are warm and ready to stretch and open our hips. The key to unlocking our hips is their mobility, and miraculously, moving in all kinds of directions, especially the circulative movement, in connection with our breath. I have prepared this short video with basic instructions where I show which movements are very helpful for opening our hips and the perfect preparation for the final stretch, in which you can stay from mentioned 2 minutes to 5. With every session, you will see and feel the difference. You will see and feel the difference in fact with every movement. Before attempting any exercise, Please have in mind to ensure your hips or back aren't hurt and you have the green light from the doctor to work out. This is not a therapeutic video. This is an inspirational video and a short complementary workout to increase hip mobility for Barre Fitness and/or yoga practice. The intention is to help you improve your performance and execution of the postures during the class or practice.
